I walk you through what I picked up, what I thought it was going to solve for our homeschool, and then the real-life reasons it ended up sitting on the shelf instead. If you’re planning for multiple ages like I am (13, 11, and 8), you already know how quickly a “great plan” can change once you see what actually fits your kids. My biggest takeaway is that unused curriculum doesn’t always mean it was “bad”—sometimes it’s just not the right fit for your season, your schedule, or your child’s learning needs. I also talk about how I think through purchases now, what I wish I would’ve considered before hitting “checkout,” and how I’m trying to be more intentional with planning so we’re not overbuying.
