In this video I’m sharing the “why” behind our science choice for 2025–2026—Apologia’s Exploring Creation with Physical Science (2nd Edition)—and why I’m totally okay using an older curriculum even when people question it. As a homeschooling mom of three girls (13, 12, and 8), I’m always looking for what’s going to work best for our family, not just what’s newest. I talk through what led me to this specific edition and how I’m thinking about using it in our homeschool plan. I also give a peek into how I approach curriculum decisions in general: I’m not afraid to go against the grain if it fits our goals, our schedule, and the way my kids learn.
