I start from the Scribie homepage, go to Sign Up, and select “Transcriber.” My main advice is: don’t rush to the test. First, do a little research and get yourself familiar with the company, because it helps you decide if it’s worth your time or not. Then I walk you through the exact tabs you should use: Introduction, Guidelines, Sample, Practice, and finally Apply. I explain why the Guidelines tab is where your real preparation starts—these rules must be followed strictly. Scribie’s guidelines are comparatively short and easy, so if you read them once or twice, you can follow them. After that, I use the Sample audio + transcript to improve clarity on formatting and rules. Finally, I open a Practice file inside the Scribie editor and show you a smart workflow: use Auto Transcribe (it claims around 92% accuracy) and then correct the blue transcript as per the guidelines instead of typing everything from scratch. Once you practice enough, you can apply—and yes, PayPal is mandatory to apply and work.
