I start by logging into my Scribie account, checking how many files are available, and then sorting by duration so I can pick a file that is neither too big nor too small. I also play the preview first, because I only select a file that sounds clear and easy to transcribe. After selecting the job, Scribie opens the editor with an automatic transcript. My job is simple: I listen to the audio carefully and correct the automatic transcript, fill in the missing words, and make sure everything matches Scribie’s transcription guidelines. Once I’m done, I run a basic grammar check and then submit the file using the button below the text box. It’s a very straightforward process, but I also share my honest opinion: Scribie’s pay rate is quite low, so it’s best for beginners to start, build experience, and then move to higher-paying transcription websites later.
