This video is about an automatic transcription feature that was recently added to MS Word online. In this tutorial, you will learn how to use the MS Word transcription feature. We will also review this feature by transcribing a few audio files. So you will be able to know how accurate this online tool is. There are several automatic transcriptions tools available online, but this one comes with all the rich functionality of MS Word. Microsoft has nicely integrated this feature in MS Word, Transcribe converts audio into text directly without you having to switch between software or different tabs. Audio files can be prerecorded and transcribed later or you can do this in real-time. Transcribe also identifies the different speakers in the audio and they are kept separated in the transcript. _______________________________________ ► Related Links To start your 30 days free trial of Microsoft 365 premium account http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkID=510938 Office 365 https://www.office.com/ _______________________________________ ► Related Videos: How to pass Transcribeme exam 2019 full tutorial https://youtu.be/g72QOAPIF_Y How to pass GoTranscript Audio Test https://youtu.be/786fpGr6inQ Live Demo | How To DO Transcription Jobs On GoTranscript.com https://youtu.be/2uaKs8ZxiOs Top 5 Automatic Transcription Tools/Softwares: 2019 Edition https://youtu.be/GAmkIHJl7A0 _______________________________________ ► Social Media Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ram_yadav22/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/ram_spy21 Email: Letslearnstudio@gmail.com _______________________________________ ► Gadgets I use and recommend Laptop: https://amzn.to/2VQvRbt Earphone: https://amzn.to/300UFg6 Headphone: https://amzn.to/2VoL2JB _______________________________________ ► Kindly Show Your Support like the video and make a comment. About This Video

In this video, I tested a brand new tool you can use to automatically transcribe your audio or video files: the Transcribe feature inside Microsoft Word. Earlier, I used to recommend Otter.ai because it gave 600 free minutes per month, but those free minutes are gone now (you only get a few files for free). A lot of you asked me for an alternative, and honestly the best alternative right now is MS Word—yes, Microsoft Word—because it gives you transcription with all the rich Word editing features. I show you exactly where to find it in Word Online (office.com) and I also make it clear: this works only in Word Online and you need a premium Microsoft 365 account (work/school accounts may already have it). Then I walk through both modes: uploading prerecorded audio (Word allows 300 minutes of audio upload each month) and recording in real time. I review accuracy, speaker identification, renaming speakers, jumping to timestamps, and the super-handy “plus” button to insert sections into your document. Finally, I share a trick: recordings don’t have the same monthly upload limit, so you can play a prerecorded audio/video on your phone near your PC mic and transcribe it as a “recording.” In my test, Word did a great job on both my real voice and a digital voice, with only a couple of small errors (mostly because of my pronunciation).
