In this full documentary, I’m taking you through the final version of my mini-doc, “From Faith to Fortune: A Legacy in the Making,” created for my Project and Portfolio VI class at Full Sail University. I followed the journey of Charles W. Smith Jr. as he pushes through the real ups and downs of entrepreneurship while staying grounded in his faith. You’ll see how the guidance from his father, Pastor C.W. Smith Sr., plays a major role in how Charles moves, thinks, and keeps building when setbacks hit. The story centers around Gentleman Boutique By GON—how it started, how it was tested, and how Charles kept showing up until the work started getting recognized. For me, this film is also about growth behind the camera: applying what I learned in digital cinematography, tightening the storytelling, and delivering a final cut I’m proud to put my name on.
