Thank you for being apart of Bilbo's and my life. Documenting my grief helps me process this loss. We are absolutely devastated and doing our best every day for Baloo and ourselves. ___________________________________ Poppy seed muffin recipe: https://censoredbaker.com/vegan-almond-poppy-seed-muffins/ Pet quality of life assessment: https://www.lapoflove.com/how-will-i-know-it-is-time/Lap-of-Love-Quality-of-Life-Scale.pdf FERA pets: https://www.ferapets.com/ NHV: https://www.nhvnaturalpetproducts.com/ Bilbos last day Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5oHUM4gLIvV20vp5IMJUOd?si=30bc49e69ce742f9 Amazon Storefront: https://tinyurl.com/2s3zc87n ShopMy Items: https://shopmy.us/shop/laurenemilyjuarez?Section_id=432774&tab=collections Music // epidemicsound.com ___________________________________ social links - Instagram: https://tinyurl.com/4a3fveps TikTok: https://tinyurl.com/ysn3vm54 Portfolio: https://laurenemilyjuarez.com/ ___________________________________ more links: https://msha.ke/laurenemilyjuarez Business E-mail: brandonallencreatormgmt@gmail.com _____________________ Subs at Upload: 22k _____________________ tags: pet loss, pet loss vlog, losing my cat,cat loss, goodbye cat, senior cat, senior cat vlog, last week with my cat, emotional cat vlog, cat memorial, losing a pet,pet grief, grieving a pet, saying goodbye to my cat, senior pet care, senior cat life, cat lover vlog, pet remembrance, cat memories, pet memorial video, cat owner vlog, emotional pet story, goodbye pet vlog, cat lover video, senior pet vlog, pet grief story, cat tribute vlog, losing a beloved pet

About This Video

This is definitely not the video I wanted to be making, but I wanted to document Bilbo’s last week with me because filming my grief honestly helps me process what’s happening. After months of palliative care for his oral squamous cell carcinoma (plus kidney and heart issues), we made the decision to let him go on Sunday—so I spent the week soaking up the tiny moments: slow mornings, him sleeping in my arms, making poppy seed muffins, reading Wuthering Heights to calm my overstimulated brain, and leaning on friends as a much-needed distraction. I also share the “how we got here” part—how I noticed the lump, followed my gut, got a second opinion, and eventually chose comfort-focused care instead of aggressive treatment. I talk about what did help us: small doses of gabapentin at night so he could rest, and adding natural supplements (FERA and NHV) that, in my spirit, gave us more good months than we expected. I call the vet to talk through the decision, and I walk you through the practical, heartbreaking details of in-home euthanasia planning—quality of life resources, paw prints, and the bag they send so your pet is handled with dignity. If you’re in this season too, I just hope you feel less alone.
