About This Video

This vlog is basically my perfect little artsy weekend: a slow morning at home, a friend date to a ceramics class, and lots of cozy, creative bits in between. I take you with me to a “make your own altar” hand-building class (I’ve wanted to do one forever), and I’m trying really hard to keep my expectations low because I tend to put pressure on myself to be instantly good at every hobby. I also share little homebody moments—getting ready, staying hydrated, bringing hand cream because pottery makes my hands feel so dry, and leaning into that calm, messy, studio-day vibe. Back at home, I chat honestly about my skin and acne (and how it can mess with my confidence when my literal job is filming), and I document where I’m at because I know I’m not the only one dealing with it. I also do a cozy little unboxing—some PR, a sweet gift from my friend Sarah, and the most meaningful custom print that captures Bilbo in such a special way. And then… we share our big announcement: we’re picking up a new cat tomorrow—Blue is getting a brother (not replacing Bilbo), and we’ll share his name and the whole journey in the next vlog. I end the weekend knitting, dropping stitches, panicking a little, fixing it with my fingernail, and reminding myself I’m allowed to be a beginner.
