Today I’m checking out the Dareu Cool60 magnetic gaming keyboard, and this one is basically a light-show. I start with a full unboxing and go through everything in the box—manual, USB cable, wrist strap, velcro cable strap, and the switch/keycap puller—then I take a closer look at the board itself. Mine is the transparent red version, so the whole case and keycaps have that clear red look. I also call out the basics like the non-adjustable rubber feet pads, because little hardware details matter. After that, I focus on what I actually care about in a keyboard video: how it types, how it sounds, and what the build is doing under the hood. I do a sound and typing test, then spend some time on the RGB because the Cool60 has the brightest backlight I’ve tried lately—those clear magnetic switches plus the transparent keycaps make the LEDs pop like crazy. Finally, I do a complete teardown: frosted polycarbonate keycaps with a matte texture to diffuse the lighting, fully transparent Ice Blade Magnetic Switches, an aluminum alloy top plate, well-lubed stabs on my unit, plus layers like Poron foam, an IXPE switch pad, and silicone spacebar dampeners.
