About This Video

In this video, I’m reflecting on what a wild year 2020 was and sharing the top four lessons God really pressed into my heart as my life changed completely. This isn’t a “here are my productivity hacks” kind of chat—it’s more of an honest encouragement video for anyone who’s been walking through hard things and wondering what to do with it all. I tie each lesson to Scripture and talk about how my perspective shifted when I stopped trying to force answers and started letting God lead. First, I share how suffering can actually produce hope (Romans 5:3–4), even when it doesn’t feel like it in the moment. Second, I remind you (and myself) that our hope can’t be anchored in circumstances because circumstances change constantly (2 Corinthians 4:17–18). Third, I talk about how God knows better than we do—and sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is slow down, listen, and acknowledge Him in our decisions (Proverbs 3:6). And fourth, I share why our hardship isn’t wasted: God can use what we’ve been through to comfort and encourage other people (2 Corinthians 1:3–4).
