In this video I’m doing a full cover of “Due Vite” by Marco Mengoni, as part of the 3rd edition of my “polyglot sings in 6 languages” project. This one was a proper challenge—especially the chorus. I’m not going to pretend my voice is built for it, so I actually got the key lowered slightly because my little pipes couldn’t take it at the original height. Even though my channel is usually language learning commentary—debunking myths, testing tools, and talking about what actually works—I love using music as a real-world way to connect language, pronunciation, and culture. Singing forces you to deal with rhythm, vowel shapes, and emotional delivery in a way flashcards never will. If you’re learning a language and you want something that’s both brutal and rewarding, try learning a song like this: it’ll expose exactly where your control (and confidence) breaks… and then help you build it back up.
