I go through the claims point by point and translate them into what they actually mean in real life: what “fluency” is being implied, what you can realistically achieve in a day, and why a lot of viral language advice sounds impressive while quietly lowering the bar. I’m not here to hate on anyone—I’m here to separate what’s useful from what’s just good content. I talk about textbooks vs. immersion (and why pretending you can skip structure entirely is usually cope), where grammar fits in, and what “speaking practice” should look like if you actually want progress instead of a performance. As a language teacher, I compare the viral method to what I’d genuinely recommend to a student: build a small, high-frequency base, get comprehensible input, practice speaking in a targeted way, and be honest about your level. The takeaway is simple: you can make a lot of progress fast, but you can’t buy a new identity as “fluent” in 24 hours.
