Pedal Projects Marbleverb V2 This is a demo of the Pedal Projects Marbleverb V2 guitar effects pedal. http://www.pedalprojects.com/products/marbleverb-1 The new Marbleverb V.2 reverb pedal has been highly improved over the previous version. This reverb pedal will deliver from short, subtle to long and lush reverbs. With three knobs you can dial in lots of different tones. First knob is a tone knob which affects the brightness of the reverb as well as impacts how the pre-delay sounds. With the tone knob up, it's brighter and snappier with more obvious pre-delay. If you turn the knob down, the reverb turns darker and the pre-delay less obvious which gives you a more ambient type reverb. Second knob controls the dwell of the reverb, which sets the length. If you turn it all the way down, you'll get a short and controllable reverb length but turning it all the way up produces a long reverb which almost seems endless. The third and last knob sets the reverb loudness. One of the most exciting new features is the FX-Insert. That allows you to hook up any pedal and have it affect only the reverb signal. Want some tremolo on your reverb? Or maybe a chorus or flanger? Just hook it up as a send and return. On the right side you have the normal guitar input on the lower side and above that is the send, which goes to the input of the inserted pedal. The other side is the same except for the pedal output below and insert return above. Please note that some pedals can produce a pop when you turn them on and off in the FX-Insert. The reason for that are impedance mismatches as the impedance of various pedals might not be the same. Another note on the FX-Insert is that the pedal will react differently to different pedals. Using high-gain fuzzes or distortion can/will cause noise. Just experiment and figure out tones you like. Since the pedal is buffered, any noise coming from the FX-Insert will bleed through when you bypass the pedal.
