Six Flags Magic Mountain is getting a brand-new Vekoma Thrill Glider in 2027… but what happens AFTER that? In this video, I break down the 5 biggest burning questions that could reshape the future of the Thrill Capital of the World. From possible ride removals to record-breaking replacements, water park expansion rumors, and major plot-of-land speculation — we’re looking at what could define the next era of Magic Mountain. A new Record Breaker? Will Viper finally be replaced? What happens to Ninja? Is Scream’s plot of land safe? Could Superman or Lex Luthor see changes? And is Hurricane Harbor due for a major expansion? These aren’t just rumors — we’re analyzing park history, manufacturer trends, corporate strategy, ride age, capacity, earthquake safety considerations, and what makes sense for Six Flags long term. If you love coaster speculation, park master plan discussions, and future expansion talk — this one’s for you. 🎢 Let me know in the comments: What do YOU think happens to Viper, Ninja, and Scream after 2027? About This Video

After Six Flags Magic Mountain opens that highly anticipated Vekoma Thrill Glider in 2027, I think the real story starts: what does the park look like in the 5–10 years after that, now that it’s under the Six Flags/Cedar Fair umbrella? In this video I break down five burning questions that, in my opinion, could completely reshape the “Thrill Capital of the World,” and I’m looking at what actually makes sense—park history, ride age, capacity, corporate priorities, and even stuff like earthquake concerns. I start with the more “mild” but still important stuff, like the Superman tower/Lex Luthor situation. The Superman side is done, and I just don’t see that tower staying as-is for much longer—if anything, I’d rather see it replaced with a modern drop tower that looks better on the skyline. Then I talk Hurricane Harbor, because it’s been way too long since we’ve seen a real footprint expansion, and I’d love to see a high-capacity modern addition like a ProSlide water coaster. From there it gets spicy: I predict Ninja could be gone by around 2030, especially with the Thrill Glider making it feel less unique. Viper feels like it’s on borrowed time too, and that land could be a perfect “wow factor” spot—maybe even a terrain-assisted giga. And finally, I get into the big land-play: if Scream ever goes, that parking lot space could open the door for something truly record-breaking… even if it’s just fun speculation.
