Monster sat right next to Gemini, so naturally the internet immediately jumped to, “Is Gemini next?” In this video I break down what we actually know (including the park saying Monster hit the end of its service life) and why Tony Clark saying “no plans at this time” doesn’t automatically mean there aren’t plans. I’ve been around this industry for 23 years—parks don’t always show their full hand. I also dig into what this could mean for the Gemini Plaza area and Cedar Point’s next additions. I think Cedar Point could really benefit from modern flats, and I throw out some realistic options like a Zamperla NebulaZ or a Zierer Endeavour (ideally the 48-passenger model for capacity). My prediction is a flat ride package is most likely for 2027, while the next major coaster feels more like 2028–2029 (with 2030 as a backstop), especially with the broader Six Flags financial situation. On the coaster side, I talk through the two big development zones: the Gemini plot and the old Snake River Falls/Frontier Trail area. If Gemini ever goes, whatever replaces it needs to be colossal—something unique and marketable, like a wild RMC concept or a major Vekoma/Mack/B&M-style statement coaster.
