Six Flags Fiesta Texas appears to be quietly setting up something massive for 2027, and I don’t think enough people are paying attention yet. In this video, I break down the land clearing happening beyond Roadrunner Express, Iron Rattler, and near Hurricane Harbor, and why the scale and location pretty much scream “new coaster” instead of a simple water park expansion. This is a top-five park in the chain for me—operations, atmosphere, ride lineup—Fiesta just does it right, and that’s why this project has me so hyped. I walk through three coaster predictions based on the footprint, terrain potential, and what we’re seeing from the industry right now. My long-shot dream is a big GCI wooden twister using the elevation—Texas’ own “Beast-lite” with serious length and terrain moments—but I only give that about a 15% chance. Next up is a B&M wing coaster (around 35%), which makes sense because Fiesta already works well with B&M and it could be the only wing coaster in Texas. My most likely pick (about 45%) is a modern launched coaster—possibly Vekoma—built for inversions, airtime, and a more approachable height requirement, while also modernizing the park’s launch coaster lineup alongside Poltergeist.
