This video is a suggestion of what you can do to help your local art educators during the Pandemic. These are hard working professionals, trying to keep the arts alive for their students, as they know just how important it is to their development and well being as kids. We know that sometimes the arts are the brightest spot in the day for many kids. The arts can really touch kids in ways that other subjects just can’t sometimes. I know personally how valuable they are in the elementary grades just like the secondary. Here is a link to the mask support I showed: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08FJ93J7S/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=karanspotsand-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B08FJ93J7S&linkId=18b847e4df908f10b90b7e91a650351b Also, here is the link to the voice amplifier, although there may be better ones that are more expensive. Mine is wired to the amplifier. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PRF5WKB/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=karanspotsand-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B07PRF5WKB&linkId=aaad0465688d3adff7fe214707884860 I do highly recommend checking out your local art and ceramic suppliers… mine is Cornell Studio Supply in Dayton (937) 454-0357 https://cornellstudiosupply.com/ They are super helpful if you call them directly- they ship all over! (Mason is currently the largest high school in Ohio!) As a potter, I have been working in clay for over 30 years, and I have been teaching for over 30 years, the past 22 have been specifically teaching high school ceramics. I love what I do! I have my own studio in my home basement, where I work on my personal pottery for my Etsy site; https://www.etsy.com/shop/KaransPotsAndGlass I started my Youtube channel a few years ago, to make videos to help my students if they are absent and miss a demo, or if they would like to explore more advanced techniques independently. I have been amazed to reach such a wider audience than my own students! Please subscribe to my channel if you would like to receive channel updates, or would like to learn more about clay and studio processes!
