In this video I’m showing you how to sign a PDF on a Mac using the built-in Preview app—no extra downloads, no sketchy “free PDF signer” websites, and no messing around. If you’ve ever had a form emailed to you and thought, “Cool… how do I sign this without printing it like it’s 2006?”, this is the quick fix. I walk through the three signature options Preview gives you, and the best part is they all end up looking clean and work seamlessly. I cover how to create a signature with your trackpad (fast and easy), how to use your iPhone to capture your signature (my favorite if you want it to look more natural), and how to use your Mac’s camera to scan a physical signature you’ve written on paper. Once the signature is saved in Preview, you can drop it onto any PDF, resize it, and place it exactly where it needs to go.
