In this video I’m finally putting the Philips Hue Gradient Lightstrip Ambiance to the test. I show what it looks like in a few different rooms and setups, because gradient lighting can look amazing… or super weird… depending on placement. The big idea here is simple: you’re not just getting “a lightstrip,” you’re getting multiple colors on the same strip at the same time, which makes scenes and accent lighting look way more premium than a single-color-at-a-time strip. I also demo how the strip behaves with Dynamic Scenes, the Philips Hue Spotify integration, and with the Hue Sync Box, since those are the features people actually ask me about. If you’re already in the Hue ecosystem, this is one of those products that’s easy to justify for the vibe alone—especially when you want smooth gradients behind furniture, around shelves, or in those spots where bulbs don’t make sense.
