(or you can boil the wheat kernels for about 30 minutes in salted water ) 2. Cut the pork in cubes and salt the pork 3. Put 2-3 quarts of stock or water with chicken bullion in a pot 4. Add the wheat kernels and bay leaf to the pot and bring to a simmer. 5. Dice the carrots and potatoes and add to the simmering stock 6. Dice the squash, leeks and sauté in a hot pan with extra virgin olive oil. Sauté for 5 minutes. To this pan add the chopped Collard greens. Salt and pepper and sauté for an additional 5 minutes. Then add to the stock. 7. Sauté the pork for about 10 minutes in a hot pan with 1 TSP of extra virgin olive oil. Add the pork to the simmering stock 8. Sauté the sausage for 5 minutes and add to the stock 9. Add the can of butter beans to the stock 10.
