Cook the bacon halfway about 7 minutes and discard the bacon fat.  Quarter the Brussels sprouts. place in a bowl and toss with the with salt and 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil and the bacon that has been cooked halfway. Pour the Brussels sprouts/bacon mixture onto a baking sheet pan and bake at 500° for about 10 minutes. After baking for 10 minutes turn on your broiler and broil the Brussels sprouts for another 10 minutes or until crispy.  For the glaze: Deglaze the pan used to cook the bacon with 3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, 2 TBSP of extra virgin olive oil and 1 1/2 tablespoons of brown sugar. warm up the mixture slightly for 2 to 3 minutes until syrupy. When the Brussels sprouts are done cooking and are crispy, place them in a large bowl drizzle with the balsamic vinegar glaze and serve. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
