My buddy Joe from FBM Maine Outdoor Journal joined me for a few nights on the trapline, and we got the full Maine winter experience. We did some beaver and muskrat trapping, checked sets, skinned and put up the furs, and spent our nights in the tent while a blizzard rolled through. Snow kept piling up, wind picked up, and we just kept moving. Mornings started right — big breakfasts in the tent before heading back out. Snowmobile runs through fresh powder, long trapline days, and good conversation around camp. No shortcuts, just winter living the way it’s meant to be. In this episode: • Beaver trapping • Muskrat trapping • Skinning and putting up fur • Snowmobile travel • Ice camping • Riding out a winter blizzard • Breakfast in the tent It’s always better sharing the woods with good company. Appreciate Joe coming out and getting after it.
