In this episode, I’m out on the trap line near the end of the season, picking up traps as the year starts to wind down. With winter tightening its grip, it’s coming down to the wire on whether to finish the line in one push or leave the rest for another day. Partway through the day, a storm moves in hard and fast, changing the conditions and forcing some real-time decision making. Between visibility, snowfall, and travel conditions, the weather ultimately makes the call for me. I’m running a brand new 2026 Ski-Doo Expedition SE, using it to move between sets and haul gear through deep snow while working out of an off-grid cabin in the North Maine Woods wilderness. This episode is a realistic look at late-season trapping, dealing with unexpected weather, and knowing when to push and when to call it for the day. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel.
