This is one of the coolest restoration stories I’ve come across in a long time. My buddy Ken from Van Buren, Maine brought this 1953 Tucker Sno-Cat back to life — a machine with a deep history that dates all the way back to its time on a U.S. Air Force base. After that, it became part of his family, owned and worked on by his dad for years. Now decades later, Ken didn’t just restore it… he took it a step further. Not only is this Tucker Sno-Cat fully rebuilt and running again, but Ken also invented and designed and built his own custom track system — improving on the original design and making it better than ever. In this video, we take a close look at the machine, the story behind it, and see it out on the ice doing exactly what it was built to do. This isn’t just a restoration… it’s a piece of history brought back to life.
