In this video I’m taking a look at the Wavlink 55 amp / 800 watt power converter charger that Wavlink sent over for review. I unbox it, go over what you’re actually getting in the box, and talk through what it’s meant to do in an RV-style 12V setup—basically converting shore power into clean 12V DC power while also charging your battery bank. My main takeaway here is simple: this unit is trying to deliver “quality at a fraction of the cost,” and on paper the 55A rating and 800W capacity make it a really interesting option for RV upgrades, trailer builds, or any project where you need dependable DC power without spending premium-brand money. I also tease a future project where I may install and run this converter charger in a real setup, because specs are one thing—but I like to test this stuff in the real world before I tell you it’s worth your cash.
