In this video I did something I honestly didn’t think I’d ever do—I traded my Traxxas X-Maxx for a 14-foot jon boat. Yep… an RC monster truck for a real boat. I walk you through why I made the trade, what I’m getting with this Alumacraft-style project rig, and the big question: was it actually worth it? Even though the X-Maxx can technically “go on the water,” I wanted something I can build into a legit fishing/utility setup that fits the way we do projects on this channel. This is the start of a multi-episode build where I’m planning upgrades, fixes, and add-ons to make this boat better, more usable, and just plain more fun.
