Jill's Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

In today's video, Jill will teach you how to make some the BEST Chocolate Chip Cookies. Oh, you are going to LOVE these. Moist, Dense and Chewy. Thanks for watching my channel. CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES JILL 4 TODAY, MAY 2025 1 cup butter, softened 1 cup white sugar 1 cup packed brown sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (I use unbleached flour) 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare baking sheets with parchment paper or silicon mats. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. Thoroughly cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy. This will take about 2-3 minutes. Add the eggs and the vanilla. Beat well to combine. Stir in the flour mixture. Mix until just combined. Do not over-mix at this point in the recipe. Add the chocolate chips. Mix to get them fully disbursed. SUGGESTION: Place the finished cookie dough in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes. Drop by tablespoon or small cookie scoop onto a baking sheet lined with parchment or silicone baking sheets. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are nicely browned. (In my oven, it takes around 11 minutes) Remove from oven and let rest on baking sheet for five minutes and then transfer them to a cooling rack. Enjoy! The recipe makes approximately 6 dozen 2" cookies When I make this full recipe, I freeze some of the dough in containers and then when I want to bake cookies I let the cookie dough unfreeze, then bake as normal.
