I have been in the process of decorating the living room for about one and a half years now! And part of that involved me making some live edge floating shelf's from a slab of yew tree wood. Unfortunately one of the piece's became damaged, and I thought I could use it to make something else so I didn't give it another thought As I got into making the shelf's I realised one piece wasn't as thick as the other by quite away, and this was before I had even started planning it down. So I had to use the damaged piece. I was stuck for ideas of how to fix the problem and epoxy resin was all I could think of. In the end both shelf's turned out fine, and the resin isn't noticeable with the shelf in place Thanks for watching, please like, comment, share and subscribe.
