I've had this piece of walnut for over a year now, and I really wanted to make something from it. I've wanted a new knife block for a while now but I didn't know what design to go for, that is until I discovered the Free, yes free plans from rocker for this knife block. I did have to order the corner doweling jig from America, but that was no big deal and it turned up in about 3 weeks. It also gave me a chance to try out the ferrex thiknesser, and I was really impressed with it, all the walnut came out level and smooth. Hope you like this one.
