Cycling Vancouver Island’s Cowichan River Trail — Art, Friends, Lumber & Baywatch Country! 🇨🇦

Back on the road — or rather, the trail — this time on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia! In this episode of the JaYoe Nation Van & Trike Tour, I reunite with my friend Glen, who I met years ago while building my van in Portland. Glen now runs Mid-Island Adventures, a local riding group that explores the incredible trails across Vancouver Island. Together with some of his friends, we ride the scenic Cowichan River Trail, stopping at historic spots and meeting some amazing locals. Along the route, we visit a timber mill, where I chat with members of the Coast Salish community and talented artist Maynard Johnny Jr., who shares his culture and artwork. We also pass by the home of none other than Pamela Anderson — yes, that Pamela from Baywatch!
