I’ve had the Admok M400 in rotation for about 19 months, so this isn’t a “fresh out of the box” hot take—this is the long-haul daily-driver question: can a so-called clone actually be reliable, or is it just a cheap imitation that’ll let you down when you least need the drama? In this video I break down what the Admok M400 gets right, where it cuts corners, and why “similar” doesn’t automatically mean “the same.” That difference matters a lot once you’ve lived with a pen for more than a week. I also put it side-by-side with the pens people naturally compare it to: the Pelikan M200 (the obvious benchmark), the Scrikks 419, and a couple of my small-pen favorites like the Pilot Prera and TWSBI Mini.
