Hey y’all—this video is all about our very first time flying with our one-year-old baby boy out of Orlando International Airport, and I’m not even gonna lie… I was a little anxious at first. We’re walking you through exactly how we packed, what we carried, and what made the whole airport process way smoother for us at 5:00 in the morning when the crowds were already coming in. We share what TSA was really like with a baby (especially with TSA PreCheck—major win), including the big thing I didn’t know at first: you can bring liquids for your child like water, formula, and even mommy milk, and they’ll just run it through their machine. We also talk about keeping baby in the stroller all the way to the gate, and then gate-checking the stroller and car seat for free so you can grab them right when you get off the plane—no baggage claim, no extra waiting. On the plane, we sanitized our seats and seatbelts, brought quiet toys, and made sure baby had something to keep swallowing (formula, water, teething crackers) to help with ear pressure. The headphones didn’t work for us—he took them off instantly—so Richard covered his ears during takeoff and baby was asleep in about 30 seconds. We also show the little fanny pack seat carrier that was a total game changer for saving our arms while waiting around at the gate.
