As ideas and expectations about marriage evolved over the centuries, so have the rituals of courtship. Today we’re in a very different place—online dating apps have risen in importance and a pandemic even halted much in person dating. People marry, they divorce, they marry again, they date later in life. Today we see dating take place among all genders, religions, and races. Love knows less boundaries – or does it?
