In this video, I tested 7 less-popular AI humanizers (both free and paid) against the detectors that actually matter right now: Turnitin’s newer AI detector, Originality AI, GPTZero, and QuillBot’s AI detector. The whole point was simple—most “famous” bypass tools are getting flagged more often, so I wanted to see if the smaller, lesser-known tools still slip through. And honestly, the results were more interesting than I expected. I also share my current hypothesis: Turnitin may be aligning its detection patterns around how popular humanizers rewrite text—so the more “mainstream” a tool becomes, the more likely it is to get detected. That’s not a confirmed fact, but it matches what I keep seeing when I run these Turnitin-style checks and compare across multiple detectors.
