In this episode I did a straight-up battle of the budget Amazon impact wrench kits—three top sellers that are under (or right about) $100. I’m talking Avhrit, Lagatuns, and SEYVUM, and I went through the stuff people actually care about: what you get in the kit (battery, charger, sockets, case/bag), weight, modes, and whether any of these can really hang when you start leaning on lug nuts. All three are brushless, all claim big torque numbers, and yeah… the “21V vs 20V” battery thing is still goofy when you realize a bunch of these packs and chargers interchange. I ran light bolt tests, then went to my lug nut torture test using my torque wrench maxed at 250 ft-lbs and tightened with my Ryobi so I knew it was way on there. The Lagatuns impressed me the most—it broke loose a lug that was well past my 250 ft-lb click, which makes that 332 ft-lb claim feel at least believable in the real world. The Avhrit also did solid in the same test. The SEYVUM (with the smaller battery) couldn’t pop that maxed-out lug within about 10 seconds, so for me that’s more “keep it in the trunk for emergencies” than “work truck every day.”
