Episode # 302 In this exciting episode I do a quick unboxing and go over the Flex Rear handled saw. Let me tell you that this thing is a freaking monster. So much power it's not even funny. I love it.!!!

About This Video

In this episode I unbox and go over the Flex 24V blade-left rear handle (worm drive style) saw, and right out of the gate I’ll tell you the same thing I said in the shop: this thing is a freaking monster. I show what comes in the kit, talk batteries/chargers, and get it set up with the onboard wrench and the blade lock (which, yeah, is in kind of an odd spot up front). I also point out the markings on the shoe—big enough to read—but I wish Flex would’ve done them in black and silver instead of just silver. Then I put it to work. I do cuts on a cedar 2x10 and start playing with the bevel detents (22.5, 45, and around 50) which is a super nice touch because it just stops where you need it. With the 6Ah stacked lithium it’s fast and smooth with a quick brake, and with the fully charged 10Ah stacked lithium you can definitely feel the difference. I rip into a pressure treated 6x6 and it’s honestly insane—way easier than any other saw I’ve used. It did clog the dust chute on me once (more user error than anything), so it’s not perfect, but overall Flex hit the freaking ballpark with this one.
