Lately, life has felt a little chaotic, and when everything feels overwhelming, I always come back to the same thing—creating a peaceful home. In this Easter decorate-with-me (part one), I’m decorating my kitchen and dining room to bring in that cozy spring feeling. Before I place a single bunny, I pull everything out of my bins and sort it into categories because I’m such a visual person. Seeing my woven eggs, wooden bunnies, garlands, carrots, bees, terracotta pots, and florals all laid out makes it so much easier to plan where everything should go. From there, I start styling the higher points first—like the tops of my cabinets—so the decor feels intentional and balanced. I’m also decorating my floating shelves, which honestly feel like an extension of my cabinets, and I’m focusing on making everything flow naturally and organically since my home is open concept. I share how I keep one theme throughout so it doesn’t feel “tacky” when you can see every space at once. And when it comes to the dining table, I keep it simple: I’m not a full tablescape girl—I prefer one bold centerpiece (usually a dough bowl) so the table stays functional for everyday life.
