A lot of people think Node.js hosting is complicated and expensive, but it really doesn’t have to be. In this video, I walk you through my “easy mode” setup for deploying a Node.js app on Hostinger so you can get really fast performance without paying a ridiculous price. I start by breaking down the features I actually care about as a developer: GitHub integration for automatic deployments, a manual drag-and-drop option for simpler projects, support for multiple Node.js versions (18–24), automatic detection of your package manager (npm, Yarn, or PNPM), plus built-in DDoS protection and a CDN for speed and security. Then I show the full setup flow inside hPanel: adding a website, choosing a domain (real or temporary), and deploying your Node.js web app by importing a GitHub repo. Hostinger auto-detects framework presets, Node.js version, branch, and build/output settings, so the main thing you need to handle is environment variables—especially if you’re building anything with auth, databases, or third-party APIs. Finally, I cover what to do if your build fails: review logs, fix issues in code, or use Hostinger’s AI analyzer to identify the root cause and get guidance on the fix, then manage everything from the website dashboard.
