In this livestream, I introduced the new and improved Hostinger Horizons backend and showed what it means if you’re building a website or web app with zero coding. Horizons is my go-to “chat-first” way to create everything from simple sites to more complex apps like CRMs, dashboards, booking systems, even games—plus you can publish in one place without juggling a bunch of providers. The big news: the backend is now integrated, so you can build more data-driven projects with built-in storage, authentication, file uploads, and automated emails. Together with our product lead, Dus, I demoed the new Data tab and explained a key upgrade: sandbox (development) and deployed (live) environments are now separated. That means you can experiment safely without accidentally breaking your live app. We also showed login options (including Google), persistent database storage, file storage (think Dropbox-style uploads), and automated email sending with editable templates. In the Q&A, we covered rollout timing, what happens to older Supabase-connected projects, user roles/permissions, pricing (no changes), and current limits like 5GB storage per project and email sending limits that start at around 500/day.
