Welcome back to the chaos of filming with two dachshunds—because apparently I did not tire anyone out enough. In this video I’m sharing a puppy supply haul for my new miniature dachshund puppy, Stanley (he’s about 9.5 weeks), and of course Stella (2.5 years) is also here trying to steal everything. Since Stanley is our second mini doxie, I already had a lot of the basics from Stella—like ramps on all the furniture, grooming tools, leashes, collars, and poop bag holders—so I’m mostly showing the new stuff we picked up specifically for him. I go through puppy toys (including some cheap crinkly Dollar Tree finds) and my absolute favorite West Paw toys, because they’re some of the only ones Stella hasn’t destroyed. I also show how I use the West Paw “stuffable” toy for mental enrichment—kibble soaked in water (nice and soggy), plus a few carrots and a little peanut butter, then frozen to keep them busy. I also share my puppy binder setup (vaccines, training, potty tracking, emergency info), Stanley’s food and water bowls, secondhand crate tips (Marketplace is the best), his tiny leash and collar, and the single-ingredient treats we’re using for training. And yes—Stanley finishes it off with a Hazel Hound bandana, because obviously.
