In Vlogmas Day 4 I’m taking you through my full “glowing skin in Alaska winter” routine—morning and night—and yes, I’m spilling my little secret sauces. First thing: one of my biggest skincare secrets is honestly working out. Getting that blood flow to your face every single day has changed my skin, and I’ve been doing PCOS-friendly workouts plus my little under-desk walking treadmill. For AM, I keep it simple: rinse with water, then I go in with The Ordinary Saccharomyces Ferment Milky Toner (a gentle exfoliating moment that has upgraded my skin in this dry, crusty weather). I follow with Alpha Arbutin for dark spots from acne scars, Kylie lip butter (because she’s the best), my vitamin C eye cream for dark circles, then moisturizer + SPF (Naturium Dew-Glow SPF 50 because even in the “Dark Ages” you still need sunscreen). I also show the red light therapy wand I’ve been using on and off for almost a year—when I skip it, I notice my fine lines and texture. Then we get cozy: I share my Tuscan cauliflower soup remix (gluten- and dairy-free, lots of fluids, oils in moderation—because my skin and scalp do better when I’m not scared of healthy fats).
