Welcome to Vlogmas Day 3, babes. In this day-in-the-life vlog I take you with me on a little Alaska adventure to Crave Coffee in North Pole, and I’m not even kidding—this place was so cute and vibey it literally felt like being back in Vegas or California. I’m obsessed with coffee shops that have their own branding and are unapologetic about their vibe, and I’ve missed that so much here because most spots are more drive-up stands. We grabbed coffees, I got a chicken bacon ranch pizza, my husband got an Asian chicken wrap, and then we drove home in straight-up whiteout conditions. After that, it was reset mode. I moved things around and set up a new office space with my Costco standing desk, a walking pad, and a cozy corner (fireplace, dog bed, the whole vibe). Then I got into a cook-with-me holiday moment, but make it gluten-free and as dairy-free as I can—because girl, we do the best we can with what we got. I tested a boxed gluten-free stuffing situation, made a “creation” mac and cheese with Banza pasta + dairy-free cheeses (and yes, I stole the cheese powder from Goodles), and made yams with cinnamon, brown sugar, butter… and a little Hennessy because we didn’t have brandy. To wrap it up, I did a thrift haul for sewing/upcycling projects, talked about getting back into sewing for my grandma, and showed a quick patch rework idea for my husband’s shirt. More sewing/crafting vlogs are coming—because I’m making what I want, period.
