Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya | Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka

This is a 5-star luxury boutique hotel in Nanu oya – Nuwara Eliya. It’s about 15 minutes’ drive away from Nuwara Eliya town centre towards Thalawakelle road. The location is amazing with a stunning view over the tea plantation. They have a manicured beautiful garden with flowers and home-grown vegetable plants. Our room was at the first level in this quite antique building with a gorgeous view over the stunning garden. We recommend that if you are planning to stay in this hotel, it is better to check the room. They have some rooms with obstructed views! It was an elegant room with an old fashioned interior with furniture and decorations. Bathroom was old but tidy. Both Dinner and breakfast we ordered from the room service menu. It wasn’t cold at all for us and we ended up having the fan working throughout the night instead of the heater. They have a swimming pool which is quite unique in a hotel in Nuwara Eliya. They said that the temperature of the water can be controlled for favourable temperatures with a special technique. They do have driver accommodation too. Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya.
