Jetwing Jungle Lodge | Yala, Sri Lanka | Luxury Safari Holiday

It is a 5-star luxury hotel with an entirely different experience than all our stays in Sri Lanka. It’s at Yala, a few minutes drive away from the Yala National Park which is one of the largest national parks in Sri Lanka. Received a warm welcome. They assign a personal butler who will take care of the hard work during the stay in this luxury hotel. Butler escorted us to our villa by buggy cart. Our Villa was refurbished with a wooden structure than it was used to in 2018 where that were tented villas. Now bigger in size with air conditioned for maximum comfort of guests. We enjoyed every meal we were served from the restaurant. Delicious and scrumptious. Really friendly staff. On the second day afternoon we went on a Safari tour on a Toyota land cruiser organized by the hotel. It was a fun-filled journey looking for wild animals. Go around the Yala National Park looking for Sri Lankan Leopards. Out of two nights we stayed, one breakfast we asked them to serve to the villa. On the last day, we visited the hotel and their ground mounted solar plant, powerhouse, bottling plant, saltwater purification machine and other different projects they carry out on this site.
