Halloween is coming, and you know we love Halloween around here—so in this video I’m putting Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor through our annual Halloween costume fashion show. Memphis is basically the only one that’s like, “I will leave this on forever and ever,” especially when she’s rocking her gorgeous wings. We tried a bunch of looks this year, including the alicorn (horn + wings, not a unicorn, not a pegasus), the snack-loving dinosaur moments, and my personal favorite kind of chaos: the dogs getting real up-close with the camera while we’re trying to get photos. Kira, of course, is Kira. She goes full dramatic mode and “freezes” in protest—especially when we bring out her iconic Elsa costume, because when she puts it on, she does exactly what the costume is. We also had Eleanor as a jester (yep, a modified people costume because I couldn’t find a cute dog jester outfit), plus her own alicorn moment where she’s like, “What is this moving on my back?” The big takeaway: the dogs get spoiled rotten with treats during filming, we make a bunch of memories, and you get to vote—who wore it best?
