Halloween is my favorite holiday, so I decided to try a super classic DIY: turning Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor into little ghost dogs with nothing but white sheets and scissors. I’m not the craftiest person in the world, so I honestly had no idea if this would work. But I grabbed three white sheets (and used a fitted sheet as a test first), draped it over each dog, and started making the “ghost face” by finding the nose and eyes through the fabric. In the video, I show exactly how I did it: center the sheet, pinch the fabric at the tip of the nose, cut that tiny piece off for a nose hole, then gently feel for the eyes, pinch, and cut those out too. The best part is it doesn’t have to be perfect—because mine definitely weren’t—and they still turned out pretty cute (and absolutely hilarious). We had a mix of reactions: Memphis was ready to just lay there, Eleanor was… Eleanor, and we were shocked that Kira actually sat still. The big takeaway: keep it simple, keep it safe, and focus on having fun and making memories with your dogs.
