Oh my goodness… it’s that time of year, and Dad raked up a GIANT leaf pile for the girls. In this video, I let Eleanor, Kira, and Memphis loose in the yard and we just let the husky chaos happen in real time. Eleanor immediately loses her marbles and kicks off the “husky 500,” doing full-speed zoomies with collisions basically guaranteed. Kira, of course, has to investigate everything, so she dives into the pile like there’s something amazing buried at the bottom (and then photobombs the camera because… that’s what Kira does). My favorite part is seeing Memphis jump in too. She’s our sweet senior and she still showed off that puppy spunk, even if she’d also like her lunch, please. We had Dad hiding in the leaf pile, the girls wrestling and digging for “treasure,” and by the end they completely decimated the pile. If you need a reminder to make memories with your dogs and let them be the happiest dogs ever, this is it—leaf wrestling for the rest of the day.
