Oh my goodness—you guys, we ended 2025 with a fresh coat of snow and some super windy weather that piled up these awesome drifts all around the yard. So of course, we had to go out and let Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor do what Huskies do best: absolutely lose their minds in the snow. We had high-speed chases, deep powder, and Memphis showing everyone the proper technique for her signature “snow smoosh,” where she just buries her face and pushes right into the drift. It will never not be my favorite. I also keep it real in this one because as pretty as it looks, there was still ice hiding under the snow and it was definitely slippery in spots. I’m out there reminding the girls (and you!) to be careful—especially around sketchy areas like the pool cover—because winter fun is only fun if everybody stays safe. We wrap it up by heading inside to warm up our frozen fingers and toes… and yes, Memphis is still expecting her apple. Watching a senior dog light up like that in the snow is honestly the most magical thing.
