About This Video

What’s up guys—today I’m building another PC with an RTX 3070 and a Ryzen 7 5800X, and this one is all about clean looks, solid thermals, and straight-up performance. It took me forever to get this card, but I finally got my hands on it, so I put it to work in a full build montage, then I jump into benchmarks to show what it can actually do. Spoiler: the performance is great, and this combo absolutely crushes 4K gaming. After the montage, I break down every part and why I chose it. The 5800X is an absolute beast (8 cores/16 threads on Zen 3), but it runs hot, so I went with the MSI MAG Core Liquid 240R AIO. The Gigabyte B550 AORUS Master board is honestly overkill, but it was bundled with the GPU—and it’s legit with a crazy VRM setup (just remember: flash the BIOS for Ryzen 5000 or it might not post). I also talk airflow balance in the MSI MPG GUNGNIR 110R, my EVGA 750 GA PSU choice, and the Asiahorse black sleeved extensions for that clean shine when RGB hits them. I even had to solve a real-world issue: no USB-C header on the motherboard, so I added a PCIe USB-C adapter to make the front panel actually work.
