I walk through five names that I believe are in real danger by 2026: Infiniti, Mitsubishi, Chrysler, VinFast, and Jaguar. With Infiniti, it’s the slow-motion fade—long product cycles, weak momentum, and no bold identity while competitors reinvent every 12–18 months. Mitsubishi’s story is long-term erosion: unclear tech direction, tightening resources, and shrinking global relevance. Chrysler is the American icon that’s become an echo inside a bigger corporate machine. VinFast is the “fast launch, faster turbulence” example—quality and software issues plus brutal financial pressure. And Jaguar? That one feels like watching the final embers—big promises of reinvention, but not enough visible action or urgency to match the market.
